You will work alongside our Project Engineering team and Underground Superintendent, supporting many civil construction projects throughout Sacramento.
Organization of materials with a clear line of communication with suppliers and internally with Project Engineer and Superintendent Handle all ordering of storm drain, sewer, and water material for underground division.
Handle material returns and inventory of yard and job site material.
Organize timing and delivery of materials.
Communicate with foreman about the need for extra items on the project.
Review submittals for underground material.
Coordinate project specific schedule with the superintendents to maintain schedule performance, making sure that the site is ready to receive materials.
Most duties for this role will be done in the office alongside Project engineer.
May require going to the field from time to time but 90% of the work will be done in the office.
Compensation $60,000 - $70,000/ per year, plus incentive bonus potential.
You will receive full medical insurance, retirement 401k with company match, paid time off, paid holidays, and more.
This role requires the successful passage of a background investigation, driving record check and drug screen prior to start date.
POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
Required Experience Looking for someone with a strong understanding of domestic water systems.
Experience with completing detailed take-offs for underground projects.
Desired ExperienceWould love someone with field experience in the installation of underground facilities.
Physical Requirements Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
